1. Shipping Options & Fees

We offer the following shipping methods across Jamaica:

1.1 Next Day Delivery (From Confirmation of Payment)

  • Applicable to orders 0kg–4.5kg
  • Delivery Fee: JMD 1,600
  • Orders placed and confirmed by 3:00 pm will be delivered within one business day.

1.2 Pick-Up Options

  • Knutsford Express Locations – JMD 700
  • Nearest Post Office (Post-to-Post Service) – JMD 500
  • Football Factory (Kingston) – FREE (Processing time: 1-5 business days)

1.3 ZIPMAIL (To Your Door)

  • Applicable to orders 0kg–4.5kg
  • Delivery Fee: JMD 850
  • Estimated Delivery: Varies by location

2. Order Processing & Delivery Timeframes

  • Orders are processed Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays).
  • Delivery timeframes are based on the confirmation of payment.
  • Estimated delivery times may vary depending on the destination and courier service schedules.

3. Shipping Restrictions

  • We currently ship only within Jamaica.
  • Orders exceeding 4.5kg may require additional shipping fees or alternate arrangements.
  • The Book Hive is not responsible for delays caused by third-party couriers, adverse weather conditions, or unforeseen circumstances.

4. Tracking & Notifications

  • Customers will receive a confirmation email once an order has been shipped.
  • Tracking details (if applicable) will be provided via email for supported delivery methods.

5. Shipping Address Accuracy

  • Customers are responsible for ensuring that all shipping details provided at checkout are accurate.
  • The Book Hive is not liable for lost or delayed deliveries due to incorrect addresses.

6. Lost, Damaged, or Delayed Shipments

  • If your order is significantly delayed, please contact us at hello@bookhiveja.com with your order number.
  • In the event of a lost or damaged package, we will work with the courier service to resolve the issue, subject to their policies.
